Scouting goes virtual

My son’s scout pack has cancelled all meetings but going virtual this week.

I haven’t found it yet but wonder if one activity will be to sew on all the badges I haven’t found the time to sew on yet…

Scouting at home

The Scout Association has pulled together some inspiring indoor activity ideas to keep kids learning new skills and having fun now that schools are closing. Take a look at the link here

They ask members to feel free to share the activities with their team, friends and family.

They’ll be posting activities to do in #TheGreatIndoors on social media over the coming days, weeks and months

Test

Four days after sending the link to my son’s phone he has yet to look at the list….I think this is the main challenge with this age, he’s engaged with stuff the teachers set him but the pull of Fortnite and timesink phone apps is strong…..

My 9 year old daughter flicked through the first few pages and reacted very enthusiastically!

She would really like to do the tornado in a glass first, Storm in a teacup
