I’m not a teacher, I’m a mother and a brownie guider. Our children are all home socially distancing and at the moment it feels we are all waiting for something to happen but the news seems far away and happening to other people in distant places. We put out a candle tonight in response to the Churches together in England call for a national day of prayer and action. I felt I should do something more to help.

There are lots of links flying round t’internet since schools closed last week and I am a link squirrel with some very long lists of my own. There are some I’ve had since I first did brownie guiding in 1997, when broadband didn’t exist and the Canadian guiders had a yahoo group which could generate 100 emails a day!
I’ve decided to bring my links together with the new ones and share how they’ve worked on my open uncontrolled study using one 13 year old boy and one 9 year old girl, both home from school with work being set remotely by computer while I work from home and my husband cares for us all as a stay at home dad. Please don’t hesitate to share what works for you.
